COVID-19 (Coronavirus) UPDATE

May 6, 2020

Greetings from Dr. Adam Hill’s office,

We hope that you and your family are healthy and doing well since our last eblast. As we move through the COVID-19 Phasing Program established by the CDC, we will begin seeing patients on Monday, May 11th on a limited basis for social distancing compliance reasons. We appreciate your patience in this matter as we want to keep our community and staff safe. We are an essential health service and are following the American Dental Association’s and NC Dental Society’s guidelines on best protective measures.

Due to the limited number of patients we can see at any one time, we will need to modify our existing schedule. If you are a patient with higher health risks (according to the CDC guidelines) and have an existing appointment scheduled with our office, please call us to discuss your appointment. We will also be calling patients that have upcoming appointments to advise of any scheduling changes.

As listed in our last eblast, please review the following changes that you will be seeing at our office when you come in for an appointment.

*Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

*We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. There will also be hand sanitizer throughout the office for you to use as needed.

*Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

*We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in reception area at one time.

We will also have additional instructions to communicate to patients when we confirm their appointments over the phone. For your health safety, we have installed plexiglass barriers at reception areas, temporary doors to operatories, and air purifiers in each operatory.

We know this is a trying time for everyone and we hope that we move forward quickly through the Phasing Process to return to our normal lifestyles.

Stay safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Dr. Adam Hill and Staff

UPDATE: Our office plans to reopen on May 11th (contingent on Governor Cooper's reopening plan)

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through alot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same, our commitment to your safety.

Our office follows the infection control procedures recommended by the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies' recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to protect our patients and staff. For example:

*Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

*We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. There will also be some throughout the office.

*Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

*We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in reception area at one time.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.

Sincerely,

Dr. Adam Hill and Staff

Dear Patients and Friends,

In an effort to support national efforts to fight the COVID- 19 pandemic, our practice is taking the following steps to help assure your health and well-being and that of our community:

  • We are following directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a way to limit patient and staff exposure to this virus.
  • Your health, and the health of our dedicated staff, matters to us, so going forward we will suspend all non-emergency care until April 30 due to NC Governor Roy Cooper’s Shelter in Place recommendation.
  • Patients will be seen only for urgent and emergency dental needs.

We will contact you soon to reschedule routine hygiene appointments. The safety and well-being of our patients continue to be our primary concern. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 nationally and within our community and keep you up-to-date regarding our plans to reopen for business as usual.

I urge you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We can be reached by phone at 828-295-9603 or by email to drhilldds@bellsouth.net and will respond as soon as we can.

Stay healthy and safe.

Sincerely,

Dr. Adam Hill & Staff

Dear Patients and Friends,

Due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, we feel it is necessary to close the dental office and postpone all appointments currently scheduled from March 18th through March 31st to protect the health of our patients and staff. We will continue to monitor this situation and adjust this timeline as needed.

If you have an appointment scheduled during this time period, we will be contacting you to reschedule. During this closure, we ask that everyone please be patient with our team as we work through devising a plan to keep all patients on track with treatment.

We are here for emergencies only. If you are having a true dental emergency, please call the office at 828-295-9603. Our receptionist will be in the office from 9:00 am-2:00 pm to schedule appointments and answer questions. The decision to close the office was made in order for us to do our part in preventing further spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and to minimize the burden on the medical community. Thank you for understanding, and we will update you as the situation evolves.

Stay healthy and safe.

Sincerely,

Dr. Adam Hill & Staff
